Mark Ramsey

Mark H. Ramsey is a member of the Oklahoma, American, Rogers County, and Mayes County bar associations, along with numerous tribal bar associations.

He is a Commissioner on Uniform State Laws and formerly served as an Associate Commissioner on Uniform State Laws.

 

Ramsey was Senior Attorney for the Oklahoma State Senate for over fourteen (14) years. In that capacity, he served as counsel to the Senate with primary responsibility for the Judiciary and Business & Labor Committees and was involved in drafting many of the most significant changes in civil and regulatory law during that time period. In addition, he often represented the Senate in litigation before the Supreme Court of Oklahoma. 

Ramsey previously served as an Adjunct Professor at the Oklahoma City University School of Law and authored scholarly articles on constitutional law and legislation for the Oklahoma Bar Journal and has other published works. He formerly served on the Board of Editors of the Oklahoma Bar Journal, on the Board of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Green Country, is the past-president of the Claremore Public Schools Foundation, and is active in his church and community.

His areas of concentration are in complex litigation, administrative law, legislative consulting, and Indian law.
